Cash on Delivery

Hi there,

I’ve had a bit of a mix-up with a magazine subscription company and I need to return a package to them. They’ve said all I need to do is send the parcel back to be paid for with Cash on Delivery (代金引換 / *daikinhikikae*). The problem is that I’m not sure how to do this!

I’ve looked on the [the 代金引換](https://www.post.japanpost.jp/service/fuka_service/daibiki/index.html) [page on the Japan Post website](https://www.post.japanpost.jp/service/fuka_service/daibiki/index.html) and it looks like I need to …:
\- Make sure the Sender’s address is still there.
\- Present proof that I *am* the sender at the post office (will a utility bill work for that?)
\- It also says I need a “Cash on Delivery” label, and I’m struggling to find where that is on their website. Is it a download? Or do I have to buy it in the post-office?

My current plan is to go into the post-office on Monday with the email printed out and ask them for some help. But I’d love it if anyone in this sub can help!
