Itinerary Check – 21 days in Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka – April-May)

Travelling to Japan with my fiancée in April. It’s both our first time’s planning an international holiday and something we’re excited to finally be doing after a long wait!

We’ve book our flights but nothing else yet, hoping to book our accommodation soon. Looking for some feedback on our current itinerary draft. Mostly looking to make sure we will have time for everything and aren’t packing things too tightly. Tokyo is still a WIP so feel free to just focus on the other travel.

Happy for any recommendations if we’ve missed any key attractions anywhere

  1. I’m going almost the exact same time as y’all and I would recommend booking accommodations ASAP!!! Everything is booked out already and the ones that aren’t are very expensive. Since it hits into Sakura season, items that needed booking and reservation are very very limited, so get on that stat!!

  2. Uh oh you’re going to be here during golden week then! Make sure you aren’t doing theme parks during golden week. Including aquariums. That will be hell.
