This whole saga is so embarrassing. Japan is supposed to be the country that get’s it right first time and has no problems with following the rules. Very sad for everyone involved.
Absolute amateurs
Jesus Christ. The first thing you do in marine salvage after the vessel is floated is check that it won’t sink again. You don’t put a vessel in tow that can sink!!
Best dropshipping strategy I’ve seen this year
This is probably a more complicated procedure than one might otherwise expect.
Still, regarding the sinking itself:
> The operator also had a deficient communication system, as cellphones, which had been designated as the primary means of communication with the boat, were out of signal range on the vessel for most of its routes, according to the ministry.
…how would one even go about telephoning nearby ships for help? Is there some sort of marine telephone directory? Why are handheld marine radios cheaper than iPhones?
