I know this was even joked about in Spinal Tap, that “washed up” American glam bands still did well in Asian markets.
What is it about hair metal (especially late hair metal) that resonates with some of the Asian countries? I know the first Firehouse album was double platinum, a lot of that being from the Japanese market.
