I’m not sure where else to ask this, but finding Jsubs is surprisingly really hard, I’ve looked on kitsuneko but when I’ve downloaded them, the timing is all over the place on VLC.
In particular the new Precure series.
I’ve tried subtitle editing online but still the same thing, and I don’t know enough about editing software to try anything else. Is there an easier way to find subtitles? I’ve also got a vpn if that helps with suggestions.

Kitsunekko subs have terrible timing but after enough my time you get good enough at using them. I use ASBPlayer- idk how VLC works but I’m sure there are similar retiming features?
You can automatically sync them with this:
https://animecards.site/subtitles/
sometimes it doesn’t work, especially if the Japanese subtitles are from a blueray and you’re watching a webrip or something, and vise versa
You can use YoiTV to watch japanese TV live, there’s an anime channel called AT-X that has subtitles.
I like to just hop on, listen to some random anime and hop off. Makes it less daunting then finding an anime, subtitles, get it synced, sitting down to study.
