I’m a Canadian on working holiday going to extend for an additional 6 months soon, do I need a revenue stamp/収入印紙? On the website it says a 4000 yen one is needed for ‘Application for extension of period of stay’ – is this considered under that?
I’ve found multiple past posts on this topic with no mention of needing revenue stamps but I don’t want to go back to the post office when i go all the way to the office this week..

Yes, you bring that to immigration as payment for your new card but only when you pick it up, not before. Just applying doesn’t cost a yen.
