CEV subsidy ending?

Hello everyone,

I was looking at the Tesla website and it mentioned that the **CEV subsidy** may end in March. Will it be coming back? Or is it over forever?

Anyone have any experience or knowledge in this?

  1. Pretty sure that if there were any knowledge of it coming back, that would have been mentioned, no?

  2. I did a little bit more research and may have answered my own question:

    From this website:

**Currently, consideration is underway from the perspectives of providing integrated support with regulatory and institutional measures, promoting the spread of vehicles with excellent environmental performance, and promoting price reductions.**
**・A summary of the subsidy requirements will be announced around mid-February.**
**・The subsidy amount for each subsidized vehicle will be determined and announced around mid-March.**

  3. As far as I know the EV subsidy program runs one financial year at a time, starting April and ending when funding is exhausted. The FY22 program will officially end in March, but most likely a very similar program will start in April. I bought an electric car a few years ago, I placed the order in April and the new subsidies had been announced a few weeks prior. There’s all sorts of timing requirements so make sure you’ll be entitled to full subsidies before placing an order
