All the other polls from NHK, Asahi, Kyodo, etc, show a similar trend since February, at this pace the Upper House election in July is going to be a bloodbath for opposition parties. From Asahi a good amount of opposition supporters also don’t seem to mind the current cabinet which makes it harder to have them come out and vote for you:
>Asahi found that 43% of independents as well as 40-50% of self-identified supporters of opposition parties approved of the Kishida cabinet, figures that will make it difficult for either opposition party to exceed expectations in July.
0.1% short of true greatness
Kishida has positively suprised me tbh. Not that I can vote, but I’m sure there are people who can who feel like me.
Cherry blossom season has begun in Atami, an hour from Tokyo https://www.timeout.com/tokyo/news/cherry-blossom-season-has-already-begun-in-atami-an-hour-from-tokyo-011023
