I’m heading back home for a short visit soon, and I want to surprise my mother with a nice gift. She’s been extremely helpful and supportive of me uprooting and moving out here, so I want to show her my thanks. For those from Spain or fans of figurines, my mother loves Lladro dolls and when I traveled to Spain, I got one for her collection.
She originally got them from her grandmother, so I was thinking of getting a Japanese porcelain figurine as a unique addition to her current collection. The question is though, I have no idea where to start or even to look. I was thinking of maybe a Hinamatsuri doll or other recommendations. If anyone also has a recommendation for a shop or website, I would also greatly appreciate that. Thanks!

Hm, go to a department store like Mitsukoshi, there’ll be a department with nice decorative stuff like that.
