I just got back from my Nexplanon birth control implant removal appointment at Koishikawa International Clinic in Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo and can recommend them! All I did was email them to ask about making an appointment and I was able to make the appointment over email.
The doctor and receptionist spoke English and the doctor himself used to work in the US. They were all friendly and professional and the procedure was relatively painless and took no more than fifteen mins.
The biggest thing was that it was only ¥2,700! Which is way way less than other places I’ve heard about.

By any chance, did they recommend you any way to get a new one put in?
I’m glad it went well for you! I had to doctor hop quite a bit (in the countryside) to find a doctor who knew what it was and could remove it.
