I was wondering if anyone has ever received a notice for their gas but then the bill never came? In December I got a notice and then the actual bill like a week afterwards and I paid it at 7/11. But for January, I received the notice but no bill ever came. What should I do in this situation? Can I take the notice to 7/11 to pay even though there is no barcode on it?

You can’t pay with the notice.
You probably want to call the gas company and ask them.
However, most gas bills are bi-monthly, so it’s possible that they just give the notice of the gas reader every month, but the bill comes every 2 months. You could check your first bill to see if the billing period is for 1 or 2 months.
Did you use only a minimal amount of gas in January? (ie: were you on vacation?)
We get these when we’ve been away for a month or so. It will say something about your useage.
In my case, I get gas reader slip and then payment slip next month.
If it’s under 2000 yen they will just roll it over into the next month.
