What credit cards can double as IC cards?

I just got my SMBC credit card today and just learnt that I cannot ditch my Pasmo card yet. My phone is brought outside of Japan and cannot be used for NFC payments.

So I want to know what are the credit cards that can double as IC cards, so my life can be a tiny bit more convienient.

  1. The JR View (?) card can be used as suica. But really if you’re here for a while just do yourself a favor and get domestic Android or global iphone.

  2. View cards have a suica feature.

    View cards are only worth it for the suica feature which effectively gives you back 1.5% of what you spent. Regular card payments is only between 0.5 to 1% return. Although shinkansen and green car tickets could give you back like 4 to 6% depending on circumstances.
