Is there an alternative to H&S in Japan? I bought some new shampoo here and it’s giving me (Male) horrible dandruff, H&S has always worked wonders for me back in the UK. Anyone know of any good alternatives I could try?
The H&S brand is literally Head & Shoulders. The H&S anti dandruff shampoo + conditioner have worked for me. I think there 2 types of conditioner. If you haven’t tried both of them perhaps you could try the other one.
Another brand I’ve tried is オクト which worked, but doesn’t smell as nice.
Why not just get H&S? I like the “refresh” ones because they’re nice and minty.
“Soft-in-One” anti-dandruff version is similar, I think.
It’s the pale green bottle/pack, not the white version.
Not available everywhere. Have to hunt around for it or else get it on Amazon.
Isn’t head&shoulders supposed to be really bad for you?
Not sure if it(H&S) is everywhere but I saw it at Seiyu a few days ago. I use Neutrogena T-Gel from back home though. It is basically anti anti dandruff shampoo for me.
Get nizral 2 percent online. It’s ultimate for dandruff.
Get オクト instead, it’s super effective.
You can buy the “real” head and shoulders from abroad in mercari or Rakuten.
I tried the H&S branded one here, but that didn’t work for me either.
Had to get the real deal sent over in a care package periodically from home. Another tip is to get the American stuff from your Navy/Army mates here if you have any – it works just as well as the UK one.
