What exactly makes this more “authentic” than previous sushi you’ve had?
I love your tag “mostly sashimi”
”Authentic”
> has mostly fake crab
Surimi nigiri xddd
Jesus… what was the previous stuff?
“Krab” (which is mostly pollack and a shit-ton of sodium) is NOT “authentic sushi”. It is, in fact, crap.
Poor OP.
If the rice is on the outside of the roll, it’s probably not authentic. If there is more than one ingredient inside the roll, it’s probably not authentic.
If you go to a sushi restaurant in Japan, they will almost definitely not serve you rolls of any kind. They will serve nigiri (but not with imitation crab) and maybe sashimi.
That doesn’t mean inauthentic sushi can’t be delicious.
As long as you enjoyed it, that’s all that really matters. But this is neither authentic nor “mostly sashimi”.
Looking awesome, very well made and displayed.
I’m sure it was delicious. But it gets even better!
