My apartments water usually smells fine but a few weeks ago I started to notice a chlorine(?) like smell coming out when I use the water.

Anyone know any resources I can look into to see if this is an issue? Would this be something the property agent (management company) takes care of?

More chlorine is being added at the water treatment facility.
Sounds like they might’ve hooked up your water pipes with the town swimming pool, which happens on occasion.
I’d say look up the phone number or go down to your nearest swimming pool and ask them to look into it for you.
Its normal and get a water filter is the answer.
It happens to me recently, since a few weeks ago as well. I am living in Toshima for reference. I guess as others have said maybe more chlorine is added for some reason now.
I have been drinking through a simple filter, but the water I use for brushing my teeth I can definitely smell them stronger than in the past
It is chlorine. Perfectly safe. They might up the dosage if it’s been raining heavily near you recently.
