Italian citizens are now eligible for a Japanese Working Holiday Visa

  1. I still can’t believe this is real tbh such great news!
    At point (f) it’s says WHV is granted to those who intends to leave the receiving country at the end of his or her stay and not altering his or her status of residence during the stay, does this mean that if I want a working visa I absolutely have to leave Japan and apply from Italy? I know that sometimes it’s possible to change from a WHV to a working visa without leaving Japan, does anyone know how these things work?

  2. Does WHV means one can remotely work his freelance job as a digital nomad while being in Japan or one has to do a Japanese job?
