Is evanescence a cliche in Japan?

Dear r/Japan, from what I understand, the notion of impermanence has been a staple of Japanese aesthetics since old texts like the Manyoshu. There are concepts like mono no aware and wabi sabi, and of course the sakura is everywhere in Japanese imagery (be it imagery made in Japan or imagery made in other countries about Japan).

So what I wonder is: has this caused the theme of impermanence (‘everything is temporary!’) to become viewed by some in Japan as a cliche? I can imagine that the strong presence of these ideas and the repetition of it in art and books throughout the centuries has lead to satire of some sort, but I can’t recall ever having run into anything like that. I’m curious to hear if anyone has some insights!
