Tldr: Pixel 7 + Japan TV = watch with auto japanese subtitles.
I recently found out a nice way to practice japanese and thought others might want to give it a try. This doesn’t really apply to new japanese learners but can give it a try.
The Pixel 7 phone has a new Beta Japanese captioning. So any japanese content you watch, it automatically writes it in japanese. It has a little delay but it’s great when watching JP TV (Japan TV, YoiTV, etc).

Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro phones in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish
On Pixel 6 & Pixel 6 Pro phones, you can also identify these languages and translate media captions automatically through auto detection.
