What is the name of the karoake machine/program mainly used in Japan?

The one where it measures pitch, rhythm, and gives a score at the end.

Is there a name and can I find it online?

  1. There’s a couple of big brands, like DAM or Joysound.

採点 カラオケ would be the search term for something that has the scoring in it as opposed to traditional just showing the words to sign along to.

If you want to try yourself, apparently there’s an app: [https://www.pokekara.com/#/](https://www.pokekara.com/#/) (I haven’t tried it), but also I think the big brands do a lot of options for use at home including through some game consoles etc.

  2. On the Dam karaoke box, it’s called 精密採点DX <seimitsu saiten>. I can’t remember what it’s called on JoySound.
