I’m currently learning Japanese with duolingo, I’m not too far in but I would like to get to a point where I could play a Pokémon game in Japanese and keep learning from there. What are the best apps for learning and translating Japanese? Preferably for iPad because I don’t have an actual computer. Ty 🙂

Obenkyo is great hiragana/katana app. It has some ok grammar/particle sections.
Kanji tree is great for, well studying kanji.
You can try some anki decks. Maybe there are specific ones for Pokemon.
And Takoboto i a great dictionary app.
And a bonus one: Japanese crosswords app.
I don’t know if all these are available for iPad.
Try Infinite Japanese, Memrise, LingoDeer, and HeyJapan.
I remember there being an Anki deck for Pokémon names in different languages (including Japanese, naturally). That would be super helpful for that specific vocabulary and it wven has pictures of each of the Pokémon tp make it a bit more fun which is a bonus.
