Japanese Entrance Exam ( FOR DEGREES TAUGHT IN ENGLISH )

Hello Reddit! I want to apply to Tohoku University and I know that the entrance exam exists. Here: https://www.tohoku.ac.jp/en/admissions/ admission_undergraduate.html it states that people going to Tohoku University with a JAPANESE degree have to take the EJU but it never mentions anything about the degree taught in English. Websites like https://www.studyinjapan.go.jp/ en/planning/examination/ Also don’t say of degrees taught in English have one. I had already contacted the school but they didn’t answer my question fully and I couldn’t find any past Reddit posts on my questions, just questions about the EJU
If anyone has any info on this that would be greatly appreciated 🙂

  1. The EJU is exclusively conducted in Japanese so zero of the English degree programs here require it for admission. They also usually accept things like SATs, a-levels, etc.
