I run a small crystal shop in the US, and I will soon be transitioning away from metaphysical type stuff into mineral specimines. I know about Suiseki, but is there a market for things like geodes, crystal clusters, etc? I’m planning on using my shop as a side gig to save up for moving abroad, and I’d like to continue running it if possible. I’m considering a few different countries at the moment and will probably be starting a business in the country I choose anyway, but I’d like to stick to something familiar.

What is a metaphysical mineral?
There’s an area in Tokyo, by Okachimachi station called “[Jewelry Town](https://jto-net.com/)”. Many of the shops carry minerals and semi-precious stones in addition to more expensive gems. For example, the store front for [Stone Castle](https://www.stone-castle.com/html/page1.html) has a display of rocks/minerals.
Around Enoshima, Kamakura, Kawagoe, Hakone, so the the tourist areas, there’s a chain of crystal shops that mostly sell jewelry made of different crystals but they also sell collection pieces, varying from for example a small piece of amethyst for a few hundred yen to huge pieces of more rare crystals of over a hundred thousand yen. I don’t remember the name of this chain but Google can probably tell you.
Tokyu Hands often has rotating and recently permanent mineral and fossil displays, and big geodes can fetch HIGH prices.
