Commercial HVACs wrt. air quality

Hi all,

The air quality in the Tokyo area could use improvement. Except for commercial buildings – in the office spaces, drs offices etc. somehow air feels much nicer. Are the commercial HVAC systems here that much better in (I guess) filtering than the regular AC / room air purifier combo? And if so, is it feasible to get one installed in a private house?
