The original RX-78 1:1, displayed in Shizuoka way back in 2010, was the arbitrary trigger that made me first visit Japan. Much sentimental fondness for that beast. I hope I get to see its modified form. Gotta get those ducks in a row.
Seems like it really was kind of last minute decision? I was there two weeks ago and the shop was desolate. Basically everything exclusive to that store was sold out.
