Me and my girlfriend are going to japan on the 15th of March. We have the JR Pass from 16th – 22th of March. After that we are staying in Tokyo for 14 days where we are going to explore the city (Ghibli museum, Teamlab, AnimeJapan…) and do some simpler day trips (kamakura/enoshima, mount takao…).
Rough itinerary with places we are planning to visit for the validity of our JR Pass (first 7 days) :
* 16th (Thu) – Arrive at Narita Airport and travel to Kyoto
* 17th (Friday)- Sightseeing in Kyoto (Shrines, Aquarium…)
* Kifune
* City zoo
* Kawaramachi
* Pontoncho
* Gion
* Fushimi inari shrine
* 18th (Saturday) – Nara Trip
* Nara park
* Kasuga Taisha
* Isuien Garden
* Yoshikien Garden
* 19th (Sunday) – Osaka Sightseeing
* Aqarium
* Tenma
* Sumiyoshi Taisha
* Minami
* Shinsekai
* 20th (Monday) – More Kyoto sightseeing + Trip back to Tokyo
* Visiting places we didn’t have time for on the 17th
* 21st (Tuesday) – Kawaguchiko day trip
* Chureito Pagoda
* Panoramic Ropeway
* Walk around the lake
* 22nd (Wednesday) – Last valid JR Pass day (need recommendations)
We are interested in anything really which is worthwhile.
We are looking for recommendations for a day trip from Tokyo for the 22nd which is the last valid day of our JR pass. Would also appreciate if anyone has any tattoo friendly private onsen recommendation which can be rented without a overnight stay (Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, Tokyo, Kawaguchiko…).
