Pretty much the title. I’ve browsed through and searched through this community and had a look at the wiki resources but couldn’t really find what I wanted. I also browsed through websites like Tadoku but whereas I can find Japanese reading material with furigana, I want to train myself more on reading Japanese left to right which is where most of my reading requirement comes from anyway in my everyday life.
Ideally, I’d like to get novels targeted for adults since most of what I come across seems to be targeted for school students. I should also add that I don’t mind paying for such resources. I know these requirements are pretty specific and I’m not even sure if there are any resources that match these requirements but just wanted to ask anyway in case anyone here has ran into such novels.
Thanks in advance!

I don’t think any of them use left-to-right, but it takes almost no time to learn to read the other way (which is also vertical), it’s not as hard as you think. It’s almost trivial.
can you read this

For furigana anything published by KADOKAWA with a green border will have it.
If that’s too much, I think hk news easy is left-to-right with furigana option. But it’s not a novel!
I’m pretty sure there’s nothing like this. Printed novels normally use vertical text, and normal novels for adults that still have furigana for everything are probably not a thing either.
But can’t you read on a web site? Aozora or syosetu etc would be horizontal and while there won’t be furigana, you can use the usual browser addons like yomichan…
If web sites are OK also check out Satori Reader, it’s targeted at learners but that means it offers furigana if you want them…
All the books I’ve bought from the Kadokawa Tsubasa publisher have furigana, and they have a lot of good options if you enjoy fantasy stories (that’s all I’ve found so far).
If you get an epub or similar you can edit It yourself. You can use something like sigil to edit the css text orientation
Or use a reader like ttu that does It for you
If you have the novel in epub format, you can use https://reader.ttsu.app/manage
It gives you the option to read left to right
Why do you need those kinds of books? It would be better to just get used to vertical writing as that’s what most books look like, especially books for adults
Many parallel readers match your specific requirements, though they usually just have furigana on most kanji, instead of all. I had a look at “Breaking Into Japanese Literature”, “Exploring Japanese Literature” and “Japanese Stories for Language Learners” and “Japanese Folktales for Language Learners”.
Being parallel readers, they will have both English and Japanese on a double page spread, but maybe it’s still helpful to you. The short stories are generally all written by either classic or contemporary authors for all audiences.
Not a novel, but there is a website cijapanese (comprehensive Japanese) whose creator is also a creator on Patreon. Here you will find extensive pdf blog transcripts (left to right) at various reading levels, both with and without Furigana. Each of these has an associated audio file. There is a small monthly subscription fee. Whatever you choose, enjoy the journey.
