I’m thinking about starting an ice skating course from April. It costs ¥8800 per month and it’s on Sundays. Is this expensive for a group course or does it sound reasonable? It’s for 45-minute lessons
I used to (many years ago) do the pay-on-the-day type group lessons for ¥2000-something per day but it’s only on weekdays and I work M-F now.
I really want to learn skating again properly but I’m just looking into my options now.
For those that went with the online visa renewal route what IC reader did you get?
Are move-out cleaning services worth it for Japanese apartments?
I hired one when I moved out of my last rental in the US and feel like I basically broke even–that is, the cost of the cleaning service was about the same as the amount of my deposit I got back… But I’ve never moved out of a Japanese rental and I’m concerned that I’m expected to leave the place ✨***spotless***✨ when I move out.
So, are cleaning services worth it? Is there a company in Tokyo you (don’t) recommend?
