Just listed as “miso soup” on the menu but need something more specific as I want to try and recreate!
It looks like Korean nangmyeon
Looks like buckwheat soba noodles to me.
Egg
That’s hilarious I think they gave you the wrong dish on accident. Those look like korean cold noodles. Broth is combined with what I believe is a pickled radish broth thing to give it that tangy flavor. If you ever go to a korean cold noodles place, they’ll give you a some kind of yellow mustard paste and vinegar. Mix in a tiny bit of each and it brings out the flavor. Apology for terrible explanation. I work at a restaurant that serves cold noodles but my language skills are terrible so i can only guess what goes in it
Korean cold noodles (a lot of Yakiniku places have Korean food) but they probably gave you the wrong dish
冷麺 Reimen. Japanese version of Korean cold noodles.
Not Japanese
Japanese people call it reimen. But it’s a Korean dish. Pretty tasty. I like to add fresh apples, pears and ham to it. All thinly sliced.
egg with sesame seeds, star fish and eel cum
I like nangmyeon so muchhhh🥺 Hope you have a try in Korea! It’s taste is much insane
Looks like korean cold noodles
Korean naengmyeon starts with a beef broth which is simmered for some time, then usually cooled. It’s served almost frozen, depending on the restaurant, to the point it becomes a slush and then it melts to a cold broth while eating it. You also usually have the option to add vinegar and mustard to the dish to tailor it to your liking as wells. For garnish korean pear, egg, and slices of beef are the common ones at most Korean spots that serve this dish. Glad you enjoyed it tho!
I just Googled and it sounds like Mul-Naengmyeon not just naengmyeon so I guess there are different kinds. Just uplifting so folks don’t order one thing and end up getting the hot version: [https://www.maangchi.com/recipe/naengmyeon](https://www.maangchi.com/recipe/naengmyeon)
Ngl I was watching a video about weird diseases and thought those noodles were parasitic worms.
