Yes. You’ll read plenty of random comments here. People can’t even seem to agree on black, let alone anything else. I’ve seen both of these statements here several times:
*”Only wear a black suit”*
*”Never wear a black suit, it’s for funerals only”*
Wear what you like. I have several suits in different colors. Nobody cares. My colleagues also have different colours and fabrics.
Where a clown suit. Literally doesn’t matter as long as you go in with confidence and do your interview well.
Wasn’t going to buy new clothes just for an opportunity I may not get accepted for. Ended up wearing a Y shirt with no jacket, slacks and adidas sambas to my interview and still made it in.
Just dress as nicely as you can and sell yourself to them in other ways.
They won’t give a fuck about your suit colour, unless you’re wearing a piss-take thing like half black and white stripes and the other half is absurdly garish.
I wore a bright blue suit and red tie. Got in. Still wear it here. Nobody cares.
I wore a navy suit with a white shirt and red tie, if that helps. I don’t think it matters much, just try not to look unkempt.
For the interview yes, any nice suit combo is good, but many schools expect you to have a black suit available for ceremonies, with a white shirt. Make sure you have a more “classic” outfit prepared.
