Good way to study Japanese

I am Japanese, but I lived abroad for most of my life. Now that I am an adult I’ve realized my Kanji knowledge is weak and my vocabulary is limited. I already speak conversational Japanese at native fluency and can read (with effort). How should I go about relearning the language if I find stuff like Genki too easy/under stimulating?

  1. As an English speaker I read books as a way to improve English. So if you’re good on convo I would definitely just read reasonably well written books/articles. Middleschool/highschool literature?

  2. Just read read read stuff you find enjoyable…but i would recommend using a kanji app since you mentioned your kanji knowledge being weak…i recommend [ikanji](https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/ikanji-learn-japanese-kanji/id311920885?l=ja) but of course, for me this app made sense as I learned Japanese from english…

if you are conversationally fluent…maybe you could use a 国語 dictionary…and maybr you’d like to use a kanji site that explains stuff in [japanese directly](https://dictionary.goo.ne.jp/kanji/)…if you scroll down to the number of strokes 画数 section, you can start learning kanji in only Japanese..,in that same page you could search for any word using the magnifying glasson the top right…for example sentences that use the kanji you could use [this site](https://context.reverso.net/traduccion/)

If you can handle it, it is always a good idea to learn from the same language..,since you can speak it….maybe you are at a level where you dont need to use English to learn

    Idk, just some ideas 😁👍🏽
