Hi, I’ll be moving to Japan in a few weeks as an ALT. I need the pre-work health check and want to get it done in Tokyo due to issues at home. I’ll be in Tokyo for 3 days before flying to my new home. Is this feat doable, and if so do you have any recommendations. I speak adequate Japanese but I’m unsure as to what or where to go to get this done.

Is your employer not making arrangements for you to have this health check performed? I know it varies by employer, but its always been my experience that the health checks were arranged & paid for on my behalf.
