depends on what kind of part time job? factory? grocery store? IT? Warehouse?
This is a pretty broad topic. Do you mean social rules and expectations you might not be aware of? how to find one? visa and tax stuff?
Well, according to that thread a while back, if you leave to go home, then realise you’ve forgotten something and go back, make sure to knock on the backroom door very loudly and wait a few seconds before entering.
Or, if you’re bold, slam the door open and bellow **”AHA! JUST AS I SUSPECTED!”**
Know your rights. eg. you’re entitled to holiday pay after working there for 6 months. It may be less days than a full time worker (depends how many days per year you work) but you’re definitely entitled to some, even if only 1 day per year, regardless of what your employer says.
Had a part-time employer lie to me about that last year. Got my paid holiday in the end though!
