From my research it should work mostly fine. But would be nice to hear from someone that already bought this specific version and is currently using it.
The difference in price is about 50k compared to AU/Docomo versions. Are you experiencing any downsides? Problems? Are you able to use 5g consistently?
My s8+ is dying, I have been using it since 2017. Just want some assurance before pulling the trigger.

Can’t answer the specifics. But with docomo you can buy it around 90k but return it after 24 months.
If you use a Sim free service, should work fine as long as you adjust the APN settings accordingly.. but find a sim free provider and check to be on the safe side. Where are you looking to buy it? Expansys?
I don’t have that specific phone, but I have another premium Galaxy, shipped from the US, and it works perfectly after adjusting the APN settings. Saved more than 20% off the Japanese price, even with today’s devalued yen, and also got a phone with no bloatware.
After using it about as long as your old phone, my old Pixel’s battery couldn’t last a day anymore so I made the switch. Getting everything set up again was a hassle but worth it in the end.
I have the S908E, I have never had any issues regarding network, apps or otherwise. Great phone with a great camera, I would recommend.
Late to the party but I use that version, is it exclusively the Korean one? Because I bought mine online for very cheap from Korea.
In terms of downsides, it’s kind of annoying how SKT has bloatware including the power-on screen, undeletable apps, etc and this is on top of Samsung’s bloatware which has gotten better over the years. For the price, definitely worth it. No issues with battery, connection, can’t say anything about 5G because I don’t have access to it.
Great little phone, worth the price and all those undeletable apps I just hid them using my Nova Launcher.
S-Pen is sick.
