  1. What is the best place to learn what words are spelled with only Hiragana as opposed to Kanji, or Kanji and Hiragana? To clarify, I’m referrin’ to words that, though they may have a Kanji, are still spelled with only Hiragana. Or words that do not have a Kanji at all. Also, I’m not referrin’ to grammar words, particles, etc.

  2. Struggling to figure this out, how do I ask to see someone’s ID in バイト敬語? Like “May I see ID please?”

  3. I was wondering about this line from the Dragon Quest script:

    > ステータスは名前に左右される為下記は一例

There’s not much context but here’s the link: https://nayukaaaaa.nomaki.jp/wp/dq4/dq1.html

I’m pretty lost about what 左右される could mean. Something about left and right? I don’t even understand this grammatically.

I think the rest is saying, “As for the status, the name ??? the following example:”

  4. Anyone happen to know what these conjugations or possible “grammar points” are called?, tried looking them up but most of it were hinative posts:

    >Potential form + ている (as in 出会えている),

    >and ている + potential form (食べていられる).

    Thanks in advance!
