Hello everyone! My name is Drake and I am a junior at Murray State University studying Japanese Translation and Interpretation and TESOL. I’ve had the opportunity to be a research assistant for Dr. Juyoung Song. Her current research investigates the self-branding of online language teachers/instructors and how this branding influences learners’ consumption of online language learning media. We created a survey last semester to gain a deeper insight into what learners are actually taking into account when deciding on resources to study with. Our survey currently only has 20 responses from other students at Murray and we are attempting to gain at least 50 responses to be able to analyze the data.
