Learning japanese on Safari instead of chrome

Due to yomichan, and other apps for finetuning videospeed and things like that, I have been using chrome for my japanese studies up until now. However Id prefer to use safari so im thinking of switching since i no longer have the same need to check up every other word, building decks and watch videos very slowly.

That being said it would though be nice to have some learning/translation tools also in Safari though yomichan etc does not exist.

So for anyone using Safari on mac, reading/watching japanese stuff, do you have any tips of plugins that makes your life easier to look up words, in text and subtitles in youtube, adjusting videospeed or similar plugins. thanks! Or some hacks perhaps using shortcuts looking up words in the built in thesarus easier perhaps

  1. 10ten Japanese Reader is similar to yomichan but for Safari.

MacOS also has a system wide dictionary that works everywhere where text can be selected, including in images.

Playback speed on youtube can be adjusted anyway, no need for a plugin.
