I take two meds both available in Japan for serious but very common illnesses. I’m just curious what type of questions do they ask during the interview process? I don’t have any limitations and my whole SoP is based on athletics lol.
Are you a SEA unicorn? If so, your interview maybe a different format, but I’m on long term meds and wasn’t asked anything about them or my health condition in mine. UK for reference.
Never came up in either of my two interviews (alternate first year, selected second year) for ALT.
They have no reason to ask you about this and it will not come up.
I got asked about how I’ll handle my health condition in general and I said I’ve done research and made sure my meds are available in Japan
It might not come up at all. However, if you can mention to them you’ve done some research already with how you’ll deal with it in Japan, it will be good.
I take some very specific medication, which requires me to be close to a specialized clinic. I’ve also lived here many times. With my interview, they didn’t mention it ,but I brought it up in another answer. I explained that I was prepared to make arrangements, already knew the process for importing medications (if needed) and understood living here wirh these conditions. They seemed to appreciate that.
I was asked how I currently kept my condition stable and how I would continue to take care of it in Japan. As long as you have done a little research it shouldn’t be a problem.
