1. I’ve been meaning to go back to Shiga. This road is only checklist for sure (likely in autumn, though)

2. Those are those “living fossil” trees they discovered in China in the 40s right? That is awesome.

3. Heading back in a couple days (though I lived on the east side)! Only have been over to the Metasequoias in high summer, though 🙂
