I took this photo in Fushimi Inari—can anyone give some culture/background to this style of knot?

1. It’s a bit hard to google, and most searches bring up Chinese good luck knots. Would this be considered an agemaki knot?

   My significant other was considering getting a tattoo of something like this and wanted to understand the more of the cultural significance. Thank you!

2. This is called a 几帳結び (kichou musubi).

   I’m not sure if there’s a specific meaning to these knots (Google-sensei might) but I know that the name comes from them being used to decorate “kichou”, a kind of partition used in noble family houses.
