I’d probably think of the Rapture if that ever happens to me..
What a twilight zone moment! Cool photos.
That apartment complex is beautiful
Know what noticed first in every photo? The streets are perfectly litter-free! Even the back alley shot is mint
crazy, but sounds exciting!
You didn’t see any massive blimps flying above you, did you?
I’ve experienced this a lot. It happens a lot at night pretty much anywhere that’s not in the city. I was on a road trip last week and passed by many empty towns and even drove for a few hours without seeing a single car. Great for night photos!
That’s trippy, like the opening scene to Alice in Borderland.
Ghostwire Tokyo
Nice
Pretty freaky and unusual for Tokyo, I don’t remember having this experience but I guess there will be times all over the city where for a few seconds it’s like this
Zombie apocalypse?
Amazinf
They were all in the tunnel from the last pic, you should’ve gone down there.
Only explanation: You went back in time in march 2020. Also did you go in that garage in the last picture? Pretty spooky.
In a residential area, at night, in the winter, you’re not gonna find many people outside.
The game will begin soon
I once had this weird experience like that in Odaiba, my wife and I got lost on these empty streets with a giant ferris wheel looming overhead that we never could find. Even the mall where I went to get some Onitsuka Tigers (the whole purpose of this mission across the Rainbow Bridge) was eerily quiet and vaguely unnerving. I imagined this purgatory where you get trapped in Odaiba and can never get back to Tokyo, you get on the train back, but it just circles around somehow, and drops you off back where you started. It’s always night and you can never find your way out. This thought still haunts me from time to time actually. I’ll never set foot in Odaiba again just in case.
I would have gone exploring in the dark tunnel.
Just spent a week there visiting the in-laws. Loved it. Great to escape winter in Sapporo and so many stars are visible in Odawara. Fresh ocean air. A great place to VISIT.
This is like some elite game of I Spy. I only managed to spot one person!
Very cool images OP I can only imagine the experience!
That’s my kind of experience. Zero people. Night. The feeling of calmness. I can even smell Japan just looking at your pics OP.
