Signature Set from Nori Nori Craft Handrolls in Mountain View, CA

1. The night was starting on bit of a bad note with getting flaked on by my date so I opted for a solo meal to treat myself. I was going to check out another Italian spot but I happened upon Nori Nori Handcraft Rolls while walking in the area, a spot that had opened 3 weeks ago (overheard it in conversation).

   I was initially a bit hesitant to seat myself since Yelp said they were closing in 12 minutes but they invited me to take a seat after getting the plates & trash cleaned off the counter.

   After they finished, I ordered the Signature Set which included: salmon topped with ikura, maguro zuke, smoked hamachi, miso scallop, bluefin toro, and A5 Wagyu.

   Overall a solid experience from start to finish in terms of the pace of serving the rolls, rice to filling ratio, and how full it left me afterwards.At $52 for 6 rolls, it’s an accessible price to folks wanting more casual fare.

   One of the things I’d like to highlight is Chau’s friendliness and eagerness for feedback. His kindness for my situation made my night!

6. Looks amazing. Reminds me of a hand roll place in NYC called KazuNori which is also fantastic.
