For people who did a CRBA for their children, can you use the Koseki Tohon for both the marriage and birth requirement?

On the website it lists that you need to show proof of marriage and proof of birth, and lists koeski tohon under both requirements, so I can use just one? Or can i only use it for one but not the other? ex/ use the koseki tohon for proof of marriage and then a different document such as Shusshou Todoke Juri Shomeisho for proof of child birth?

Forgot to add this is for USA.

  1. One Koseki Tohon will be good. Make sure to make a translation and have a copy of the Koseki Tohon that the embassy/consulate can keep.

Hot tip, take your partner’s passport as well, with a copy you can leave with them.

If you DM me, I have a sweet template you can use to make a nice looking translation of the Koseki Tohon.
