Hello,
My daughter is a U.S. citizen, and currently a student at TUJ (Temple University Japan). She can stay in Japan during the summer if she takes classes (she did this last summer), but is wondering what other options there may be for staying through the summer (i.e. if she didn’t want to take classes). She asked TUJ, and got the impression that there were no other options.
I wondered, though, if she could get an internship or a job of some sort, which would allow her to stay until classes begin again in the fall. Or if there are other options, please let me know.

EDIT: Perhaps I should add that her Japanese language level is quite good.
