I can only make out “みなさん、こんにちは。関西ワ兵庫県の大学で日本語教員をしている伊藤といいます”… what is the “関西ワ” supposed to be?

Hello, I’ve encountered another sentence from the Dragon Quest script that I’m not sure about:
> 古い言伝えではロトはこの島の西の外れに虹を架けたそうじゃ。そして魔王の部屋の隠されたる入り口より闇に入ったと聞く。
I believe this says something like:
“In an old legend, Roto built/suspended/bridged a rainbow on the western edge of the island. Then I hear he entered the darkness from out of the evil king’s secret door.”
But I’m unsure about 隠されたる. It looks kind of like a passive/past tense conjugation, but whatever is that る doing there?

Are 小学上級 (grade 5-6) books hard enough reading for N2 study?
I was wondering about this line from the dragon quest script.
> 待ってください。ローラは(your name)様に贈り物をしとうございます。
I think it means, “Please wait. Lora would like to give (you) a present.”
But I wonder what is しとう?

Any new japanese learner would have come across youtube videos where said youtuber goes on about how unnatural textbook japanese sounds.
I’m a native english speaker and I’m very curious if there are similar examples for english in english textbooks? Especially folks teaching english in Japan, can you share examples of unnatural english that you have seen?
How do you know when 咎める means “to blame” and when it means “to question”?

I have misplaced my big old similar kanji spreadsheet and cannot cold recall the similar kanji.
