  1. Corn and fruit don’t belong in a poke bowl 👎 downvote me all you’d like I’m standing firm 😂 you wouldn’t put corn in a sushi roll, why put it in a bowl? 🤢

  2. Bonus points for the chopsticks holder. I would probably go smaller on my cuts of fish, add more spicy mayo, and not put corn or fruit in my bowl, but to each their own. Nicely done!

  3. I like corn and pineapple on my poke bowls. While this isn’t “authentic” poke there’s no reason to police ingredients. The poke place I worked at had corn, mango, AND pineapple and people loved them. Corn is a very Japanese thing to add to things like even ramen. If it tastes good to you, add it!

  4. Man I would love to, but it would cost me $200 to get all of the 28 toppings I get at Pokeworks.

  5. This may be a stupid question, but where do you buy sushi grade fish? Is this something that I could pick up at a Wegmans or Whole Foods?

I clearly haven’t done much research, but I have never been inspired to try and make something like this at home until I just saw your post. It looks amazing!

  6. What’s going on with all these first-time posts, they look so amazing? Is this a joke? I’m feeling very unaccomplished.
