You’re better off going abroad, getting one there and then importing it. Idk if that’s even possible tbh. I have family that uses cpap and they have to have like a prescription to show customs to bring it over
The standard CPAP method in Japan is a rental version under NHI through your doctor. It costs about JPY5000/mo. I personally found having to go to the doctor monthly for no reason but to pay very inconvenient, so I purchased overseas.
I used 1800cpap.com and found an online sleep therapist to give me a prescription so that i could import it. Since the prescription is a pdf, I just change the date on it when I order new supplies.
