Sushi


I made some maguro and sake rolls. Cucumber, carrots and green onion also.

  1. Looks delicious! I do recommend working on the filling and rice ratios though, less rice altogether is what I’d say. I’m pretty new to making sushi as a hobby so take what I say with a grain of salt

  2. Looks like you are using long grain rice. Try and find a short grain sushi rice at a local Asian market or online if your general grocery store doesn’t carry any.

    Less rice is also key. I find that I need no more than 1/4 cup uncooked rice per roll, probably closer to 1/5 cup. Depends on amount of fillings. An avocado roll need much less than one stuffed with 4-5 things.
