Hi guys, has anyone recently renewed their work visa? How long did it take before you received the hagaki? It seems like it’s taking sometime compared before the pandemic started.
It depends. I’ve received a response in 4 days, 1 week, and even 4 weeks. As long as your paperwork is submitted you don’t have to worry

I did it end of May online. Took them 3 weeks to ask for additional documents, then maybe 2 days to send my new residents card after receipt of those docs.
Mail is taking 5 days now though, so that added about 10 calendar days to my total time.
3 weeks – just came last week
I renewed my visa last month. I got the postcard about 10 days after applying. During covid, it took over a month.
Hi guys, just an update. I got a letter from the immigration asking for this 雇用先の給与所得の源泉徴収票等の法定調書合計表(写し。令和3年分)
(要: 収受印又は電子申告完了報告)
I translated it but can’t seem to find what exactly this is. I know the company needs to provide it and was trying to get a sample for them.
For context, i switched jobs in between visas and my current company is international based including the HR hence the visa renewal challenges. We have a local consultant but very difficult to deal with.
