Hello everyone! I’m working in Japan for about 1year now but I have to go back to my mother country due to a medical emergency of my family. It’s not sure when I can return back to Japan and I informed the situation to my company. I already gave my resignation cause they said that they can’t wait for me more than one month cause I’m a contract employee. If everything goes well with my family’s medical situation I’ll be able to come back to Japan within 2 or 3 months. I have a valid working visa until 2025. But please kindly tell me will it be a matter not having a job when I’m returning back to Japan ? I really appreciate your reply.🙏

It depend on the type of status of residence you have. Some are linked to your employer, some are not
If it is a regular working visa, no problem.
