I am looking for job and apply for many company that hiring new undergrad for joining company from 2024 April. Will I be consider as new graduated student since I didn’t have work experience and just start job hunting this February?
If I want to start work from this April, should I apply for 新卒採用(shinsotu saiyo) or 転職 (tenshoku). I work as a part time job in a restaurant (mostly waitress and some time kitchen). Please help, I don’t understand the way of japanese holding recruitment.

  1. I think shinsotsu is for people who are graduating the following year, or graduated within an year of application (definition varies by company for the graduated part). 2021 grad sounds like you are a 既卒 (graduated).
